ADHD Counseling in Barrington, IL

ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) can be an incredibly challenging condition to live with, often making daily life feel overwhelming and unpredictable. Many people with ADHD struggle in silence, frequently misunderstood or misjudged as lazy, unfocused, overly dramatic, or quick to anger. In reality, their brains process and respond to information differently, which can make routine tasks feel impossible, amplify emotional reactions, and lead to constant frustration. Recognizing ADHD for what it truly is—not a character flaw, but a neurological difference—is the first step toward finding effective strategies and support.

Symptoms of ADHD
