Trauma Processing & Emotional Healing Group
Led by Annmarie O’Connell, LCPC, a trauma-focused therapist, this group provides a safe, supportive space for adults who want to process past trauma and build emotional well-being through connection. Participants will gently explore how earlier experiences influence current emotions, relationships, and patterns of self-understanding.
What We Do
Using an integrative, trauma-informed approach, the group incorporates attachment-based work, inner child healing, and other evidence-based modalities to support meaningful emotional processing. Sessions are paced intentionally, with a strong emphasis on choice, safety, and nervous system regulation, allowing participants to engage at a level that feels manageable and empowering.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Process past experiences in a supportive, contained group setting
- Increase emotional awareness and regulation
- Develop greater self-compassion and emotional resilience
- Understand and shift attachment and relational patterns
- Feel less alone through shared reflection and connection
Join Our Healing Trauma Group Today
This is a processing-focused group, not a skills class. While grounding and regulation tools are offered as needed, the primary focus is on emotional exploration, insight, and healing within relationship. Sharing is always voluntary, and respect for boundaries is central to the group’s structure.
This group may be a good fit for adults who are ready to engage in trauma work at a thoughtful, supported pace and who value connection as part of the healing process.
